“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news” (Romans 10:15)
This passage from Paul describes both the urgency in proclaiming the gospel and the delight in hearing it. It sets the twofold challenge in preaching. It must be alive and dynamic, and it must touch the minds and hearts of the hearers. Drawing on insights from Evangelii Gaudium, this presentation will examine the role of preaching in the Sunday assembly.
